As Administrator of the Clonakilty Chamber of Commerce, I've had the pleasure of working with Melissa Clarke on numerous Chamber related projects. From the outset, Melissa has brought passion, professionalism, and a proactive spirit to everything she does.
She has taken full responsibility for the PR and promotion of the Irish Yogurts Clonakilty Street Carnival, consistently delivering outstanding results each year. Melissa is unfailingly reliable - every task she undertakes is completed to the highest standard - and her enthusiasm and initiative are very refreshing.
Beyond the Carnival, she has been instrumental in initiatives such as the new Clonakilty Playground and various successful fundraising events, including the Pink Knickers Swim at Inchydoney Beach and the Clonakilty Charity Ball.
Thanks to her efforts, the profile of these events - and Clonakilty itself - has grown significantly. Her involvement has also encouraged a wave of interest from local businesses seeking her support with press and PR, ultimately contributing to the wider promotion of tourism and commerce in the area. Melissa has become an invaluable asset to the community of Clonakilty.
